Schumacher Homes, is honored to have received the Gold National Award at the International Builders Show in Las Vegas, NV, one of the building industry’s most prestigious events. This event celebrates innovation, creativity and excellence in architectural design.
The Heritage model home in Shreveport, LA – won the Best Multi-Generational, Living Space award – the highest honor for multi-generational design as decided by a distinguished panel of judges. In addition to the gold award, Schumacher Homes won in the multi-generational category – this home was also chosen as a Silver Award winner in the Best of 50+ Housing category.
“We’ve always taken great pride in providing the best award winning designs and floor plans for our homeowners,” says Paul Schumacher, President of Schumacher Homes “but it’s always nice to be recognized by our peers in the industry for the efforts we’ve made on behalf of our customers. Multi-generational living space is a booming need in the marketplace and feedback from our customers has been very positive on this design.”
The Heritage reflects one story living at its best with a split bedroom design that allows privacy while keeping the family connected to the open floor plan. It is a gorgeous 2,163 square foot home, complete with a wonderful dual master suite. Although this home includes this beautiful second master suite, because Schumacher Homes is truly a custom home builder this feature can easily be removed from the design to fit the homeowner’s needs. This spacious home boasts four bedrooms, including the large second master suite and three full bathrooms. Some of the unique features of this home include:
Large second master suite that includes its own kitchen and laundry room. This room is actually attached to the home by a beautiful porch so is in essence its very own living space.
Brick arches and brick accents throughout the home.
Stunning wood floors and custom ceiling beams that provide a spectacular architectural element.
11 foot ceilings in the kitchen and great room.
The Heritage was named in honor of Mary and John Schumacher – the parents of Paul Schumacher founder of Schumacher Homes, on the occasion of their 60th anniversary. The Heritage name was chosen to commemorate the positive role models they have been for all the members of the Schumacher family. Of course you would expect any home named for the Schumacher’s to be both beautiful and inspiring – and this one most definitely is.
In addition to theses awards Schumacher Homes was honored to be recognized with silver awards in the categories of Best Architectural Design for a Single Family Home 2,000-2,499 sq. ft., their Charlotte Grand Opening event and TV commercial – “Entertaining with friends.”
